Hi, I’m Alyssa, a 19-year professionally trained makeup artist based in Houston, Texas. I’m home and offering Hollywood Glam, Texas Style!

I worked at MAC Cosmetics for nearly ten years, then spent 12 years in Hollywood working in-front of and behind the camera as both a makeup artist and actress. I’ve worked on countless sets and been able to collaborate with the top L.A. photographers and directors, have glammed clients ranging from men attending the Vanity Fair Party, to producers walking the red carpet for their Emmy-nominated shows, brides on their special day, actresses doing publicity photos and so much more.

I’ve even had the opportunity sit in the makeup chairs of Hollywood’s top makeup artists, like celebrity and Makeup Department Head Cindy Miguens, who was my makeup artist on Famous in Love; Shelly Rucker, my makeup artist on Shameless and Mandy Benton, my makeup artist from the ABC pilot Broken where I played opposite Anna Paquin. I have fond memories of learning from all of them and admire their work.

I created Look The Part Book The Part®, a makeup business catering to support those looking to look and feel their best on their big moment. With nearly twenty years of experience of working with diverse skin tones and textures for a number of occasions, I feel confident to meet your beauty needs for your special day.

I’m glad to bring my unique expertise to the Houston market, and give y’all a little touch of Hollywood Glam, Texas style.
